How Are Students Reacting to ChatGPT?

ABSTRACT 

This research addresses the question of how students are responding to the spread of artificial intelligence (AI) tools with a particular reference to ChatGPT. With a general class survey and in-depth conversations with some athletic students, this paper reveals students' habits when it comes to this new technology. Furthermore, this research displays the differences between different users, particularly athletic students, and non-athletic students. The research findings provide useful guidance for understanding the usage of ChatGPT among students.
