ABSTRACT
This study explores how different demographic groups respond to changes in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within the global ecommerce sector. By analyzing survey data from ten respondents and examining global case studies, particularly from China and Southeast Asia, this research highlights disparities in e-commerce adoption and consumer behavior. Age, education level, and technological literacy significantly influence engagement with digital platforms. Barriers such as the digital divide, trust issues, and lack of digital literacy hinder widespread e-commerce participation. This paper suggests that businesses should embrace inclusive strategies to reach a broader audience and ensure equitable access to the benefits of digital commerce. It offers actionable insights for businesses, policymakers, and global markets to foster inclusivity in ecommerce and bridge the digital divide.
